Mims is the rural community immediately north of Titusville, about 7,300 people spread across citrus land that the freezes of the 1980s mostly emptied of groves. The lots are big, the driveways are long, and the housing runs from homesteads that predate the space program to newer homes on acreage built in the 2000s and since.
